Front-end/GUI Ninja

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Want to work on building applications and UI for a rapidly growing photo/video sharing community with nearly 400,000 members and 5 million unique visitors per month? Want to join a stable company, where your work will be immediately visible to hundreds of thousands, but where you'll be able to create? This isn't a situation where you're handed a list of requirements from product management, and told what to build. We want you to come help us figure it out.

Do interesting work. Get paid well for it. Be happy. In addition to developing the front end of their applications and site, you will be responsible for doing some GUI designs, performing usability testing and ensuring that our web site(s) and applications exceed our customer’s expectations.

If you are a Front-End/GUI Ninja that is skilled at front end programming and building graphic mock ups that is interested in working on the development and design of a high traffic website(s), we want to hear from you immediately! No freelancers please; this is a full time in-house position in our huge office in SOFIA.

THE SKILLS:

- 3+ years of proven experience designing and developing highly interactive web sites & applications
- Expert knowledge of UI design/Semantic HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX and solid experience with libraries such as jQuery, Prototype, YUI, etc
- Proficiency using Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Fireworks, Firebug
- Solid experience with user interfaces, image optimization, scripting, web accessibility standards, design & development standards, and cross-platform issues
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into high quality mock-ups with graphic elements
- Self-motivated, strong team player, problem solving skills, very, Very, VERY strong eye for detail
- You are satisfied only when things are pixel perfect

THE MAJOR ADVANTAGES:
