Support Engineer for 6 months Project

Responsibilities and Main Activities

Responsibilities:

• The responsibility of the integration expert is to create and maintain of all Environments types so they will fit the project requirements at each phase of the project Life Cycle
Main activities:
• Prepare and maintain the Environments Pages
• Create all the necessary environment types
• Execute periodic upgrades to the Environments (copy executables, introducing/changing directories, variables etc) according to the release notes and the installation documents
• Execute verification and sanity checks after each upgrade
• Troubleshoot all environment problems
• Act as point of contact for the Testing Team
• Develop and maintain work procedures and tools

Support Engineer Knowledge

The support engineer should have knowledge of the following subjects:

• UNIX OS
• Windows NT
• Unix scripting (TCSH, KSH, ANT)
• Oracle (SQL)
• Java, HTML
• Middleware (WL, Tuxedo)
