Marketing and Fundraising Officer

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Danube – Carpathian Program Bulgaria is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Fundraising Officer.

The main responsibilities of the Marketing and Fundraising Officer will be the development and implementation of partnerships, engagement strategies with private sector, individuals and other key supporters to sustain WWF’s conservation work in Bulgaria; Business & Industry engagement process for selected sectors and companies in line with WWF’s strategies and criteria; support for fundraising efforts of WWF DCP BG. The position will be full time and based in the WWF office in Sofia.

Key requirements are: University degree in Marketing, Management, Business, Finance, PR, Communications, Humanities or related fields. At least three to five years' professional experience in marketing, project management, public relations or related fields, with an emphasis in fundraising, contacts with donors, development and maintenance of strategic partnerships, project/program management, etc. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills, with ability to function in a multi-cultural environment. Fluency in English (written and spoken), excellent computer skills, and strong commitment to and interest in work for nature conservation and social change. Previous experience in working with NGOs is an advantage.
